I am a keen reader. I studied literature at university. After university I studied Mandarin Chinese and now I work as a freelance translator and editor. I have worked in a variety of different places over the years, including jobs in teaching, construction, distilling gardening. I like to cycle and swim for exercise. I also do some jogging. I'm very fond of going to watch films at the cinema. I live near the sea and love doing a variety of activities that relate to the sea.
