Hey there, I'm Allison, and it's great to meet you! I recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Accounting and a minor in Mandarin Chinese. Currently, I'm pursuing a Master's in Finance and working towards a career in consulting. Outside of academics and work, I've developed a strong passion for traveling, particularly to Asia and South/Central America. I went for the first time to both places this past year, and fell in love with the food and the people. Oddly enough, I actually found lots of similarities between these two places...exploring different cultures has been incredibly eye-opening and enriching for me, and I am already planning when I can return to these wonderful places. I'm also an avid piano learner and find solace in expressing myself through painting. My love for Mandarin Chinese has led me to study with a tutor from China, and I'm continuously fascinated by the language's depth and beauty. In my free time, I enjoy leisurely walks and practicing pilates for both physical and mental well-being. These activities help me stay balanced and grounded amidst the demands of life. Recently, many of my friends moved to pursue their careers elsewhere, which prompted me to seek new connections and friendships here in Austin. It's not always easy, but I believe in the power of genuine connections and the beauty of building a close-knit community.
