Hi, my name is Vik. I’m a happily married man, and father of a beautiful baby girl (and am expecting another baby girl in November). I have worked many jobs over the years, in all positions from management to entry level employee. I have sold homes, cars, and cell phones, I have worked as a paralegal, conducted closings for real estate, am a licensed realtor, and am also a public notary. I would consider myself very well read and well traveled. I would have to say that I do enjoy classic Russian literature more than most, my favorite book would have to be Lolita. I live in New York, but have been to Canada, England, Spain, Germany, India, China, Dubai, and Hong Kong. I am a huge fan of music and cinema, my favorite band is the Beatles (which is fairly evident to most people given the big tattoo on my right shoulder). But I have eclectic taste, with an interest in any music depending on the vibe. More often than not, I would be caught listening to 70’s rock however. As far as movies go, I am a huge fan of Quentin Tarantino, love the Lord of the Rings, and the Hobbit, and do enjoy the occasional stupid time pass level slap stick comedy. Again, as is the case with my taste in music, it’s all about the moods. I do enjoy romcoms from time to time, and also a great action flick. Big fan of The Office, Parks & Rec., 30 Rock, Everybody Loves Raymond, The King of Queens, and Seinfeld. I grew up on shows like Pokémon and Dragon Ball Z. As far as my favorites teams go, I’ve decided from a very young age apparently that I was going to follow an even keel streak of losing. I watch the Nets for NBA, Jets for NFL, and Mets for MLB. As you can tell I really knew how to pick’em as a kid. But you know what they say, you can’t just drop your teams when they’re not winning, gotta stick it out with ‘em till the end. And I intend to do just that. I think that’s a great start on who I am and what I’m about, would love to talk about anything and everything.
