Greetings! I'm Erwin Von Sellner, a UK citizen with a diverse range of experiences and skills to share. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain and Operations Management and a 150-hour TEFL Certificate, both earned through online study. I understand the unique challenges and advantages of distance learning, having experienced it first-hand. Not only am I proficient in English, but I can also converse in Afrikaans, my second language. This gives me insight into the journey of acquiring a new language. My decision to become an online tutor stems from my passion for guiding students' growth and fostering cultural exchanges. Over the past years, I've been tutoring English predominantly to students from China, Russia, and Japan. Before this, my professional journey took me through a 4-year stint in the logistics sector. This real-world experience significantly enriches my Business English lessons, making them more applicable to students in professional roles. My teaching style is far from monotonous. I aim to create an engaging, enjoyable learning environment, tailoring my lessons to align with each student's individual goals. I firmly believe that a positive, exciting classroom atmosphere is crucial for enhancing retention of the lessons taught. Technological adeptness is another of my strong suits. I incorporate green screen technology into my classes, adding a dynamic dimension to my virtual classroom. Always striving for excellence, I'm not one to settle for the minimum. Hard work, I believe, is the key to success in all walks of life. Outside the virtual classroom, I'm an active individual. I enjoy weightlifting at the gym and practicing Brazilian Jujitsu. For me, regular exercise is a vital component of a fulfilling life. Besides physical fitness, I also have a fondness for motorbiking, particularly off-road adventures.
